Custom Piece: The Lady and the Unicorn Tapestries Breastplate Necklace
An ethereal whisper in my left ear thought it might be time to share some of the custom projects I've created over the years. This particular breastplate necklace was part of a custom Lady & the Unicorn Tapestry set which I remember working on in bits and pieces in the months after my sweet son, Rivyn, was born. My focus in the studio these past several years has shifted from clay work due to the additional time it takes to create these wee clay portrait pieces, but finding this photo amongst my custom images today has brought back renewed inspiration. I shall ponder upon it.
I do not often peek my head around the mysterious ether-filled doorways of social media, yet Rabbitwood and Reason clientele continue to delight and surprise me with their imaginative and inspiring requests. 2024 has inscribed onto me the mark of 20 years crafting adornments in the professional realm. I thank you for finding your way to me through the mist. I am quite a quiet little mushroom, who, in addition to creating for Rabbitwood and Reason, loves to read and paint. I am learning how to play the lute, love to explore the cuisine of the past, and Gandalf resides in my heart. #amidoingthisright #gandalfsaves
NOTE: The Lady and the Unicorn Tapestries currently reside in the Musee de Cluny, Paris, if you'd like to view them online or visit in person. Please murmur soft words of my greatest admiration.
